BeeBS II

With the help of a couple of the members over at the Synchronet forum
(namely Nelgin and Digital Man) Ib ve been able to send out Mode 7 screens
with Synchronet (running on a rpi3), the whole thing is a bit of a hack
and requires that the pages are stored with a .40col extension so that
Synchronet will send them if the client selects that they are using a 40
column terminal.

Welcome Mode 7

The problem seems to be that even when you disable auto terminal detection
and set this as the b defaultb be removing various pages, the end user
still have to go though quite a few hoops to set up Synchronet to work
with Mode 7 correctly as well as requiring them to log out then log back
in again for all the settings to take effect.

Despite this as you can see it is possible to have a modern BBS host
working nicely with Mode 7 graphics.

Bullseye Running

It is also important on the Beeb end to select a terminal client that
sends the correct ASCII codes for the cursor keys (one has been included
in the BeeBS Files area where I have modified the PD Scrolling Terminal).

Available @ beebs.ddns.net:6505 no longer available SD card corrupted

Update to the update: Recovered (well remade) and running on port 6502

Update to the update about the update: I now run my own BBS written in
python.
